The first ever Civic with Subaru motor swap… or is it?
I thought I saw everything and anything that can be swapped into a civic, but I stand corrected. Then I realized, after reading into it a little more, that it's actually a wolf in sheeps clothing. It has the outer shell of a civic, with the internal frame of a Subaru WRX. Sure it's a plays a little trick on the senses, but it has the heart of a turbo WRX.

Don’t Fear the Dirt!
It was about 2am and I had the TV on as background noise while leveling up in Mafia Wars. Then this commercial came on:
Halfway through I thought it was an infomercial. Indeed it wasn't. I started to pay attention and realized it was really a commercial for the Subaru Outback. Kudos to the marketing/ad team for thinking this one up.
So who's picking up some Outback Detergent? Let me know if it works

Toyota FT-86 Concept Revealed
Remember back when Toyota and Subaru were working on a coupe together? Well instead of a small sketch we now get a concept car which looks nothing like a Toyota, but sports lines that'll indeed make someone think Nissan or Mazda. The FT-86 is suppose to be the true succesor of the AE-86, which means this thing is going to be a front engine RWD Coupe, that should slot into the affordable range on the market. While Toyota did most of the design of the FT-86, Subaru has added a 2.0 Boxer Engine to the mix and is suppose to build the vehicle in its plants when production starts. This will definitely be one subcompact to watch when it is released on the market in 2011-2012. -Tanker!

"Both the 2008 Mitsubishi Evo and the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI have graduated from high school bullies to scholarship-toting college athletes, and all in just one generation. So which do we choose?
It's not going to be easy. The STI wins if you want a wagonlike car that handles with a more intuitive, analog feel. The Evo gets the nod if you're happier with a good-looking sedan that has excellent throttle response.
For those who don't care about body shapes, then the STI just pips the Evo, thanks to its better ride, smoother gearbox and especially the cool sounds the engine makes. But this might all change once the Evo gets its dual-clutch automated manual transmission.
It's not an easy choice. Who would you pick as your bodyguard: Jean-Claude Van Damme or Jet Li?"
