IJ Saturday Morning: Who is “the Driver”?
Remember a couple years back a clip appeared online pointing to an upcoming animation series based around the cars we loved and the hero being a GT-R? Looks like another trailer has come out as a continuation of the first video that dropped. Still street racing and out running the cops, the bad dude thinks he gets away only to be tormented on the freeways of LA by the ghost GT-R. Who is this road vigilante? I dunno but he has some great sponsors who are doing their best to change the negative images the import scene seems to conjure and educate the masses on being responsible drivers. Especially on the mean freeways of LA.

Nissan Juke-R… I want one!
Nissan decided to shake up the automotive world by combining a Nissan Juke and the monstrous Nissan GT-R, with a creation that they call the "Juke-R". This crossover is literally the ultimate compact crossover. Sadly, Nissan is developing only two of these concept vehicles - one left handed one and one right handed one. Both vehicles will be stuffed with the 2010 GT-R's twin turbocharged V6 motor as well as the GT-R's drive-train and suspension. The body was given a black matte finish and rides on the 20-inch GT-R alloy wheels. Although the Juke-R is just a concept, Nissan admits it could go to work on a sportier production of the Juke if public reaction to the hot crossover is positive. Well Nissan... we give it two thumbs up!

WYHI: Impul’s Nissan Juke
Not the prettiest Nissan to date, but still I have this attraction to the Juke. In the hands of Japanese aftermarket tuning company, Impul, I'm a little bit more persuaded to get one. Along with its visual flair for oddness, Impul is working on some power tweaks. Move over eco-tuning, here comes something meatier!
Mine’s GT-R… I wish it were mine!
Come on Mine's... it's not even 2012 yet and you all ready have a brand spankin' new, spectacularly modified 2012 Nissan GT-R R35! How about sharing some of the wealth, or at least one of your GT-Rs! Enjoy the video, I know I did!

SNEAK PEEK: LoganBuilt 2010 Nissan Cube SL
SEMA is just around the corner and our friends over at microcarmag.com have shot us a little sneak peek of their SEMA project car, the Nissan Cube. This little guy is the first concept out of LoganBuilt, which coincidentally, is the brainchild of Thomas Musante, founder of MicroCar Magazine. So far, they have done a good job with the Cube and we are looking forward to seeing this little guy in person as well as other project cars to come!
Nissan Sentra SE-R Goes 1/10th Scale
It's been a while since I've actually logged on to the internet, but I did happen to catch this ad from Nissan Canada. Entitled, "Drift," this commercial is all kinds of awesome and all it's missing is some action figures and Dale Ishimoto, the guy who portrayed Mr. K in the 90s. Enjoy the Ride!
Nissan GT-R… breaking necks in more ways than one
It sure has been a while since I've posted a video about the Nissan GT-R (my dream car... uh hum Santa) This is a review from those crazy guys from Brittan's "TOP GEAR". You have to love how the announcer seems as amazed with the car as I am. P.S. you will understand the neck breaking part after watching the video... Enjoy!

Make.Believe You Can Be a Real Race Car Driver
Dear Sony - Why isn't this ad on TV? Awesome clip - way better than what Sony's pushing out right now.
If you are not sure who Lucas Ordonez is: Back in 2008, Nissan and Sony held a competition across Europe to create a race car driver out of video gamers called the "GT Academy." The task? Beat 25,000 other gamers to the fastest lap in GT5 Prologue for the PS3. Twenty-two gamers had the fastest laps and were then given physical, mental, and driving challenges. The winner of these trials was Lucas Ordonez. He did pretty good in his debut at the Dubai 24hr 2009 by finishing 45th and 9th in class. He then went on to take 2nd place in his 2009 campaign in the Euro GT4 Championship. Impressive.
Hello Nissan Juke
What an odd little mini-SUV/crossover/compact car...
Designed by Nissan's studios in Europe, this car is very different from the norm. It's very Nissan, yet more quirky than the stuff coming out of Korea. Even though my first impressions of the vehicle consisted of things like "Buzz, your girlfriend! Woof!" or "No Nissan! Bad Nissan!," I tend to find myself drawn to the car. Maybe its the video...the music is so calming and the design just seems so much more appealing while spinning in circles. Although Nissan hasn't released the US-specs on this compact crossover, I'm sure we will all be hoping for the 4WD 1.6L turbo'd 4 banger that Europe is getting.
Nissan is planning to debut the Juke to America at the New York Auto Show. -Tanker
