Need For Speed World Beta
Just a friendly reminder for you NFS fans - the NFS World Beta has kicked off today!
Head on over to http://world.needforspeed.com to sign up and download the beta client and get ready for a mashup of the best from the NFS Series built into an MMO world. The beta release adds new locations and additional cars on top of the previous beta allotment. For the most part, you can game for free and check out the impressive visuals and standard NFS gameplay. It's when you hit around level 10 where you are encouraged to purchase a starter pack for $19.99 which will allow you to level higher than level 10, get an exclusive ride, Speed Boost, and gain VIP status. Fun right? You really can't go wrong with free for the first couple of levels - until you realize everyone is passing you up and leaving you in the dust. Then maybe its not so much fun anymore.

Power of Dreams: Failure
Earlier last year, Honda had released "Dream the Impossible" a series of clips that document the meaning of its current campaign: Power of Dreams. My favorite of the bunch is the following clip entitled "Failure." We are shown short snippets of interviews with Honda engineers, designers, and people close to Honda, talking up on how they took various failures and made them major factors in creating something great - be it winning IRL or making sure that orange isn't part of the Civic color choice in America.
I like to come back to this clip cause to me its the best clip out of the series. Sometimes it gives me perspective when in a rut, and let me tell you, these past couple months have been very rutty. Even though the posts may have slowed up a bit again, I have been doing some changes to the backend and slowly implementing a new layout for the blog. We are now up to the latest installment of WordPress and will be taking advantage of the nifty features it offers. So bear with us as things start to change here at Import Junkiez. Some things should click, but I expect others may not. So keep an eye out for new things to start popping up and let us know what you think. Until then, check out the vid and feel good about making a mistake or two 
If there was a part 2 I hope they contact the entire Acura Division or maybe the designer of the 2011 Honday Odyssey. Oi!

Rally Innovations presents “Dealer Showcase” July 27th 2010
Rally Innovations presents another Dealer Showcase at the Ontario Mitsu & Subie Dealer. All cars are welcome, there will be free food and drinks, with Live DJs, models, and give aways. They're even having a STI vs EVO Dyno shoot out! That should be fun! Make sure to pass bye the Rally Innovations booth and tell them that ImportJunkiez says "HELLLLOOO"!

Opportunity knocks twice … LA Street’s Food Fest!
For those unlucky enough to have missed the first "LA Street Food Fest"well here's your chance to make up for it. On July 24th, LA SFF is having a Summer Tasting Event. The brains at LA SFF stepped up their game with a larger venue so that more food lovers, such as Tanker & myself, have more space to search for food vendors. They're also going to have 2 beer gardens and Tequila tasting all day! Looks like I'm going to be calling in sick the next day! Bring on the food coma! LA SFF ... Holla at your boys!

GT5…Dated…Pigs Fly.
After what seemed like an eternity, Gran Turismo has finally gotten it's release date: November 2nd. Announced at Sony's Press Conference at E3 2010, this will be just in time for my birthday *hint hint* I'll be expecting the collector's edition pre-order which includes the game, a 1:43 scale diecast of the 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V, a 300+ page car guide, a keychain, and 5 DLC cars with special GT livery.
They must have had a lot of time on their hands…
Recently, a BMW Z4, created entirely out of brick and mortar, was spotted in the art district of Beijing, China. Whoever created it not only did the exterior of the car but also included a detailed interior plus windows!
