Imagine this hypothetical situation… your cruising in your pretty sweet ride in the middle of a cool summer night. Out of the corner of your eye you spot an “ok” looking supra. You think to yourself, “I bet ya it’s all looks with a stock supra motor…(not like that's anything to scoff at!)” so your friend who’s sitting shotgun pulls out his video cam and decides to record while your friend decides to try to pick on the supra. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER judge a book by it’s cover. Enjoy.

FormulaD takes over the Infineon Raceway…
Infineon Raceway is one of the four original Formula DRIFT tracks on the circuit. Located in Sonoma, CA, Infineon is close to the world famous wineries and driving distance from both Oakland and San Francisco.
Utilizing only a portion of the full 2.52-mile road course, Formula DRIFT uses the exit for Turn 4A, Turn 7A, and Turn 7. One of the fastest tracks of the season, Infineon’s course starts with a downhill straight that has seen drivers reach the 100mph+ mark before entering the fast right-hand turn. Drivers will have to use their best car control skills to manage the speed and slide back around the sweeping turns. Hopefully I will get to get some event photos up... that is if I go! Growing up in LA, there have been countless times when I've had to parallel park. Each time I had to parallel park there was always a small voice in my head telling me that either the space was too small or that I just couldn't make it. I need this kid as my little voice! Worthersee Tour 2009
The Import scene isn't just all Nippon. There's the owners of Euro cars spending as much time to fix up their cars as any JDM freak. No better place to show it off than at Worthersee, which takes the name of the lake its by in Europe, where Euroheads congregrate to show off their old school MK1 to the newly released Scirocco. This year was it's 28th year, and it took place between May 20th to May 23rd. Mad props to these fine tuners, your work is awesome. After checking out this teaser from the festivities, I might have to purchase the DVD. *drool*

I <3 Korean Short Rib Tacos
If you haven't heard of the taco truck that dishes out Korean tacos and burritos then you probably don't have a computer and have friends that don't have computers. The Kogi BBQ truck started out by fusing Korean and Mexican cooking, put it on a roach coach, and then reached out to social networking users to follow them across Southern California and eat their food.
For the most part its a huge success. In the beginning you only knew where the truck would be based on @kogibbq Twitter updates. Now they post up locations on www.kogibbq.com and if you're really lazy to follow a taco truck around you could always stop by the Alibi Room and pick up some Kogi goodness.
This is pretty much an LA County affair...OC will not let the trucks in without a proper permit (last I heard). So if you happen to be visiting LA, you should check out the Kogi Truck at any of its various stops from mid-day to 1am. You will definetly not be dissapointed!!!

Still No Computer
Week 5 without my laptop. Its been really boring at the apartment...
InfamousJJ has been doing an excellent job finding spare time to post up stuff while I'm without my computer. Thanks! On the bright side I still have access to the blog through the WordPress app for Blackberry, so I'll be randomly jumping in and out for now. Don't be surprised about short random blurbs from me since the BlackBerry Tour keyboard is nice, but no way to write long passages. Please do though, let me know if you see any issues as this app is in beta at the moment and has a possibility causing havok for the site. Hopefully not! *cross fingers!!! Alright other than that, everything is good in the IJ universe. Hope you all have a good hump day!
